All Saints Church of England Academy

Curriculum Overview

At All Saints Academy our curriculum is designed to help students develop the wisdom, knowledge, skills and understanding that will sustain them throughout their schooling and into adult life. Within a broad curriculum, students are given the chance to discover their unique, God given skills, talents and abilities. Our ambitious and inclusive curriculum is underpinned by high quality GCSE and vocational qualifications.

When students leave All Saints CE Academy, it is our aim that they do so being able to communicate effectively in a range of ways appropriate for our fast-changing world. We intend for them to have open and enquiring minds and to be able to ask relevant questions and therefore make informed choices. We expect their choices to positively impact their own wellbeing and add to their sense of personal flourishing. We also intend for them to understand moral decisions, to respect difference in all its forms and to exercise kindness and compassion in their day to day lives.

We deliberately focus on the development of strong core skills that will help students throughout their lives. These are delivered within a wide range of subjects taught by specialist teachers who are passionate about their areas of expertise.

By doing all of the above, we believe our curriculum empowers and enables our learners to leave school with effective knowledge and skills for the rest of their lives.
