Uniform

At All Saints Academy, our uniform helps create a shared identity and sense of belonging within our community, ensuring that every student feels included and equal. We expect students to wear the correct uniform every day as part of our high standards, and we ask all pupils to adhere to these expectations to promote consistency, pride, and readiness for learning.

Below are the uniform policy and expectations of our students. We have adapted the number of compulsory All Saints Academy branded uniform items to reduce costs for parents and carers.

Uniform Expectations

Compulsory NON Branded School Wear

Compulsory NON Branded PE Wear

These items may be purchased from any retailer, provided they meet the school’s colour and style requirements. This adjustment is designed to reduce costs for families while maintaining a clear and recognisable school identity.

  • White collared shirt (either long or short sleeved)
  • Plain black straight leg trousers (leggings, skinny, tight-fitting trousers, wide and flared leg trousers are not permitted) 
  • Black ankle socks or black opaque tights
  • Smart black shoes (trainers are not permitted)
  • Winter coat (ideally waterproof)
  • Plain black sports shorts or Skort  
  • Plain black tracksuit bottoms or     sports leggings                                 
  • Sports trainers to be worn in PE        lessons
  • White sports socks
  • Black football socks for football
  • Shin guards

  • Tartan school skirt (worn on or just above the knee)

These items may be purchased from any retailer, provided they meet the school’s colour and style requirements. This adjustment is designed to reduce costs for families while maintaining a clear and recognisable school identity.

  • Plain black V neck jumper to be worn under the blazer (a sweatshirt and/or crew neck is not permitted)  
  • Black underlayer top for cold days                             
  • Black underlayer leggings for cold days

Items that are NOT Permitted

  • Black leggings
  • Non tartan school shirt
  • Black skinny fit trousers, slim leg trousers or wide leg trousers or flared leg trousers
  • Black trainers worn outside of PE lessons during the normal school day
  • Nike Air Force and equivalent will not be permitted during the school day outside of PE lessons
  • White socks work with school uniform
  • Hoodies
  • Black sweatshirts

Other Clothing

Other allowed clothing, eg. religious attire, should be plain black or dark in colour

make-up

and nails

  • A wristwatch is allowed (not smart / i-watch).
  • Pierced ears: one small plain stud in each ear lobe. No other piercings should be worn.
  • Natural hair colours only. No extreme styles (e.g. tracks / grade 1).
  • No excessive make up. This is at the discretion of the staff. No painted, false or acrylic nails.
  • No fake eye lashes.
  • Pupils with long hair need to bring a band to tie their hair back for PE and practical subjects as this is compulsory.

If your child receives free school meals, they are also eligible for uniform vouchers. To request a uniform voucher please contact your child's House Team or the Main Office at:
