Vision and Values

Our Vision

Our vision is clear: “

Working together to be exceptional in all that we do so that we may all ‘have life and have it to the full’.

John 10:10

By having every member of our school community live out this vision on a day-to-day basis, we believe that students and staff at All Saints CE Academy will be able to flourish individually and collectively. It is a vision that is underpinned by the Church of England’s Vision for Education, which itself is rooted in Jesus’ promise to his followers that they would experience

We encourage students to follow these in their own conduct and reward them when they demonstrate them effectively. 

Our underpinning scripture

The Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10 25:37)

This is an important parable for all members of the All Saints community as it demonstrates our values and from it we learn how to treat one another so that we can all live, learn and flourish as a community. 

We also consider: 

Matthew 7: 12: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you" as a piece of scripture that guides us in how we treat one another and links to our values of Show kindness, Help others, Build community. 

Justice and Responsibility at All Saints Academy 

Inspired by the Parable of the Good Samaritan

At All Saints, we embrace our values of Act Wisely, Help Others, Build Community, Show Kindness and Embrace Opportunities. These values are rooted in the Parable of the Good Samaritan and inspire our commitment to justice and responsibility.

We encourage students and staff to demonstrate kindness, act wisely, and build strong communities. Through these values, our school community is empowered to show courage, challenge injustice respectfully, and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Justice and responsibility are not confined to special events or awareness days. They are woven throughout our curriculum and daily life at All Saints. Across subjects, students explore questions of:

  • Fairness and equality
  • Human dignity and respect
  • Stewardship of the world around us
  • Responsibility towards others
  • Social justice and ethical decision-making

By engaging with these themes, students develop the knowledge, compassion and confidence needed to become thoughtful citizens who stand up for what is right and contribute positively to society.
