Academy House System
At All Saints Academy, the House system was introduced to foster a strong sense of identity and belonging among students. Being part of a House encourages collaboration, healthy competition, and leadership, while motivating students to participate actively and develop personal skills.
Every student and member of staff is a member of one of our Houses: St Hildegard, St Sebastian, St Thomas and St Veronica.
Each of the four Houses is named after an inspiring saint:
- St Hildegard, patron saint of musicians and writers, symbolising creativity
- St Sebastian represents endurance and courage
- St Thomas embodies wisdom and learning
- St Veronica stands for compassion and kindness.
While students proudly represent their Houses, everyone works together to uphold the five school values: show kindness, act wisely, embrace opportunities, help others, and build community.

Throughout the year, our Houses compete in a variety of events to earn points and work towards winning the prestigious House Cups. There are many ways to collect points. Students can earn unlimited positive behaviour points on Class Charts by demonstrating academic excellence, showing outstanding effort, contributing to the school community, or embodying our five school values.
Additional points are awarded for taking part in House Competitions, organised by the House Management Team, which promote creativity, teamwork, and school spirit. Every point earned brings your House closer to being crowned House Champions at the end of the year!
