All Saints Church of England Academy

Trips & Visits

Educational trips and visits are an important part of our commitment to providing a rich and varied learning experience. They allow students to explore new environments, connect classroom learning to real-world contexts, and develop independence, curiosity, and cultural awareness.

From museum visits and theatre performances to outdoor adventures and historical sites, these experiences broaden horizons and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Our head of trips and visits is Mr McConnell, who can be contacted at any time with any questions or queries you may have Duncan.McConnell@asa.weareauthentic.education. Additionally, every trip and visit we host will have a trip lead, who can also be contacted.

Notification of Trips

At All Saints Academy, we aim to ensure a fair and transparent process for allocating places on school trips. Where a trip has a limited number of tickets, it will first be opened to the students invited on ParentPay. Places will be allocated on a first‑paid, first‑served basis, and once all tickets have been secured through payment, the trip will be closed.

For certain specified trips, students will be asked to express their interest before places are confirmed. Once a student has submitted the required consent form, the payment option will then be activated on ParentPay, allowing families to secure their place.

We strongly encourage parents and carers to consult with their child before making any payment, as we cannot guarantee reimbursement if a student later changes their mind after a place has been paid for.

Payment of Trips

All trip payments must be made through ParentPay.

You can access ParentPay using the link to the app below.

If you require any assistance with ParentPay please email

Other Trips Information

Medical Information

If your child is attending a school trip, you will be required to complete a consent form, which includes providing any relevant medical information needed to keep your child safe throughout the visit. This ensures staff are fully aware of any health considerations and can respond appropriately if needed.

Please note that all medical information submitted will be shared only with the staff accompanying the trip and the school’s Lead Medical Officer. The Lead Medical Officer may contact you before the trip if they require any further details or clarification about your child's medical needs to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

We also ask all parents and carers to keep their child’s medical information up to date on the Arbor app (link here). Accurate and current information helps us support your child effectively both during school and on trips.

Free School Meals

If your child receives Free School Meals, you will have the option to request that a packed lunch is provided for them for any school trip or visit. This ensures that all students are fully prepared and able to enjoy their experience without worry.

If you would like more information about Free School Meals, or believe your child may be entitled to receive them, please visit this page.
